Job Description :

    Academic Qualifications: B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering from reputed institution in India or abroad.





    Work Experience 12 to 20 years of experience in milestone payments, billing schedules and MRP.







    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF BILLING ENGINEER



    ROLE
     

    • Review of bills of quantities and item lists.
    • Value engineering to achieve functionality, safety, speed of execution and quality at lower costs by evaluation of different options.
    • Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors contractors.
    • Construction supervision of civil interior works at site , including safety , quality and time schedule.
    • Analysis of variation claims by contractors / vendors and closing of the same.
    • Contacts administration and enforcement at site. Coordination with own team to ensure smooth execution and handover details information.
    Responsibilities: 
    • Prepare Preliminary Estimates at Proposal Stages.
    • Prepare details Bill of Quantities/Pre Tender Estimations.
    • Compile Tender Documents based on requirement of projects.
    • Pre-Qualification of Vendors.
    • Prepared details Comparative Statements.
    • Inspection and Verification of Work Measurements.
    • Processing the invoices as per terms and contracts.
    • Rate Analysis, Bill Estimation, Costing.
    • Preparation of bill quantities (BOQ)
    • Preparation of Certifications.
    • To Support PM in billing & generating cost related reports and documentation.
    • Checking measurements.
    • Bill Certification.
    • Preparing reconciliation statements.
    • Preparing monthly & weekly cost reports.
    • Knowledge on computer operation.
    • Preparation of Estimation and Costing.
    • MIS report-daily, weekly & monthly report etc.
    • Should be awarded about, price Escalation, Variation to the contract.

    II) PCC-(Particulars Conditions on Contract)



    III) COPA- (Conditions of Particulars Application)



    3.Technical Specifications.



    4.Letter drafting for client & consultant.



    5.Drawing, BOQ, Technical Specification-study, find out, obligation, resolve it.



    6.Knowledge of Arbitration.



    7.Knowledge of Indian Contract Act.



    8.Preparation of Claims & EOT(Extension of times)





    Skills and Qualification 



    The contract engineering is one of the more experienced members of the team, having a background in both engineering design and construction inspection. This experience includes an intimate acquaintance with previous contractual relationships, both good and bad. This individual will be competent in the use of written language, as well in consultation with members of the legal profession, as a contract must be legally defensible to be enforceable .The contract engineer will verify that the owners expectations are articulated in the construction documents, as well as establish criteria for successful task completion within the project.
