Job Summary
AECOM India is seeking to hire a Associate Director- MEP to be based at Mumbai.

The services include Design Management, BIM based Architecture Engineering, BIM Advisory, Structural, building services like mechanical HVAC and HV/ LV electrical power, lighting and ancillary systems, plumbing engineering and Sustainability Green building Services.
Job Duties:
The candidate will be responsible for design outputs from a multi- disciplinary MEP (Mechanically bias) design team and responsible for Mechanical design on a number of projects.
Ensuring that all design work is produced on time and in accordance with the project quality requirements.
Lead a team of engineers for successful project delivery. This includes design review of the Mechanical / HVAC systems, supervising engineers, coordinating, design documentation and contract administration on projects.
Responsible for the participation in the progress and coordination meetings of the design projects and the preparation of the meeting records.
Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval on design projects.
Maintain, develop and retain the highest appropriate standard of technical skill.
Commit to continual professional development and learning on relevant technological, business and human relationship matters.
Maintain and develop Client relationship.
Lay down precise information about work scope from the client and get it mutually agreed.
Contributes to client satisfaction through being responsive in a timely and effective manner for any queries from the client.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proficient knowledge of design and engineering procedures.
Planning projects and time management.
Sound Knowledge of various codes and standards.
Design experience in various types of buildings.
Possess a flexible & detail oriented attitude.
15- 20 years of experience on working in MEP Design
Should be a great motivator and an excellent Time Manager. Should ensure timely delivery of excellent quality design and documentation, assisting with resourcing and planning, managing cost control as well as supervising and managing Structural engineering team.
Have effective communication skills with good written and spoken English.
Have a good attention to details and correctness of all submissions.
Strong Leadership skill and role model requirement.
Relationship management and work winning skills with clients.
Profit and loss sensitivity is desired.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in similar projects.
Excellent communication skills.
