Job Summary
AECOM India is seeking a qualified Senior Quality cum Material Engineer for Independent Engineer services for Four/Six Laning of Aunta-Simaria in the State of Bihar.
The responsibilities of this position would include-
• Responsible for carrying out various laboratory tests as per Bureau of Indian Standards, Indian Roads Congress and MORT&H Specifications.
• Soil: Sieve Analysis, Liquid Limit, Plastic Limit, Free Swell Index, determination of Laboratory Density by Modified Proctor Compaction Test and determination of compaction by Sand Replacement Method, Core Cutter
• Method, CBR under soaked and unsoaked conditions at different energy levels, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Test, Moisture Content determination by Oven Dry Method and by Speedy Moisture Method
• Aggregate: Gradation, Specific Gravity, Water Absorption, Aggregate Impact Value, Flakiness and Elongation Index, Soundness and Stripping Value
• Cement and concrete: Consistency of cement, Fineness of cement, Initial and Final Setting Time, Soundness, Slump Test for checking workability, Compressive Strength of cement concrete
• Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy
Specific Skills Required:
•Technical skills, Problem solving, Management skills, Commercial awareness
Minimum Requirements
• Should have 10-15 years of relevant experience in Highway Project work.
• Civil Engineering Graduate/ Graduate in the relevant disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
•Excellent Communication skills
