Sales Executive Activities
Job Description :
1. Collaborate with sales, service, R&D, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision makers.
2. Consult and communicate with enterprise customers to understand their business and functional needs and create customized managed Cloud enabled solutions to upscale their infrastructure.
3. Support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the technical close in complex solutions.
4. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers & internal sales team.
5. Prepare technical presentations and demonstrating how a product/solution meets client needs.
6. Client meetings/site visits for technical discussion/requirement gathering and analysis.
7. Design best practices for backups, and whole infrastructure.
8. Educate sales practitioners on better understanding requirements, qualification, solution formulation, pricing, risks.
9. Work closely with sales professionals, engineering, product development and Customer Care to resolve technical issues that arise during customer trials (POC).
10. Design and Re-architect private/public or Hybrid cloud infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and scalability to meet business needs such as SAP HANA on Cloud, hosted core banking solution on cloud, SAP/Microsoft ERP Hosting on Cloud.
11. Design solutions to migrate from Non-virtualization environment to a Virtualization or Cloud environment.
12. Design disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) based on Public/Private Cloud model.
13. Translate business needs into hardware requirements (Infra Sizing).
14. Contribute with knowledge, expertise and best practice to the project.
15. Define SOW of the Project.
Desired Skills & Experience:
1. Exhibit strong understanding of the managed cloud hosting business concepts, market practices and trends, customer needs, existing products and IT solutions, key global and regional players, business dynamics etc.
2. Experience in Microsoft products/OS & Linux OS (HP-UX & IBM AIX would be an added advantage).
3. Experience in setting up, maintenance of Data Centre & Managed Cloud Services.
4. Experience in setting up Disaster Recovery (DR) solution.
5. Extensive experience of creating Managed Cloud Solutions (Public, Private, Hybrid) that is consistent of enterprise application and security standards and policies
6. Consult & communicate with customers to prepare Various Technical solutions to enable the client organization to upscale their infrastructure without any downtime on Cloud platform.
7. Comprehensive expertise in designing & Implementation cloud solutions on VMware, Citrix, MS Hyper-V, RHEV.
8. Communicating expertise with Alliance partners, SaaS providers, Application developers & OEMs like Oracle, SAP, Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, IBM, VMWare, RedHat, Juniper, Netapp, Microsoft, etc.
