Job Description :
-Must be able to work independently as well as in team environments - often in stressful, high-impact situations.
-Manage day to day core infrastructure issues working collaboratively with various teams to debug and root-cause on failures and provide holistic solution.
-Knowledge on scripting for automating system administration task.
-Monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery systems for new solutions
-Required (24/7 IT Infrastructure Support, available for 9 hours shift and weekend)
Responsibilities:
AWS:
-Installed, Configured, maintained and have done troubleshooting on AWS EC2 instances
-Understands how Snapshots of AWS instances works
-Provisioning S3 & Configure VPCs, ELBs, IAM, Auto-Scaling
-Configure & Troubleshoot Storage Gateway, Cloud Front
-Configure Cloud Watch & Route 53
-Migration experience to cloud
VMWare:
-Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of ESX, VMWare Environment.
-Perform VM/Storage vMotion,
-Add/Remove Memory or any other Hardware resources on the VM
-Installing, Upgrading and Troubleshooting VMtools
-Taking, Deleting and reverting snapshots of the VM
Linux:
-Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and -Troubleshooting of Red Hat, CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu operating systems
-Installation, Security patching (yum, package etc..), Kernel Upgrade and downgrade
-Troubleshoot Linux Server Performance issues using various performance and monitoring tools such as SAR, I/O stat, tcpdump etc.
-Configure, Manage and troubleshoot Apache HTTPD and provide Transport Layer Security (TLS)-enabled websites and virtual hosts
-Configure, Manage and troubleshoot secure SSH service
-Install, Configure and Managing Infrastructure services like DNS(BIND)& DHCP
