Job Description :
-Understand business initiatives including technical and non-technical requirements
-Design and implement scalable ETL solutions
-Translate complex concepts in ways that can be understood by non-technical audiences
-Design highly automated data management and reporting processes to create scalable business solutions
-Create database architecture and design that enables highly efficient downstream reporting and self-service analytics
-Leverage domain expertise to build highly relevant, complex, flexible, intuitive and user friendly technology solutions
-Understand downstream analytics needs and requirements while creating the ETL / database processes
-Design input and output validation reports and mechanisms that can be used to easily track and identify data issues and trends
-Leverage cloud-based technologies appropriately when developing the ETL/database solutions
-Create technical specification, Code/Application documentation and process
-Engage with the team members to build solutions that meet business initiatives
-Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
-Conduct code review to ensure delivery of high quality standards
Desired skills :
-5- 8 years of overall experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience ETL development - Talend
-Good Experience working with different databases like MS SQL Server/My SQL
-Good experience in writing UNIX shell scripts and automation using Python
-AWS / Azure and Airflow experience a plus
Hadoop, Big Data experience a plus
-Good experience working with structured and unstructured data
-Pharma data and domain knowledge a plus
-Data analytics experience a plus
-Understanding of full project life cycle; analysis, design, development, test, release and support procedures.
-Excellent problem solving, analytical, technical, interpersonal and communication skills and an efficient team player with an ability to take new roles
