Job Description :

-We focus on delivering quality software in an agile and results-oriented environment. Specific responsibilities include:

-Liaise with the development team to learn the details of your assigned applications.

-Set requirements for the product that support optimal construction, maintenance, and performance.

-Become the go-to expert on how your applications and their dependencies run in our environment.

-Coordinate the continuous delivery of software to production.

-Prepare clear and useful documentation like diagrams, checklists, and runbooks.

-Extend and utilize our monitoring systems to track availability, performance, mean time to repair (MTTR), etc.

-Join a team of voice and network engineers who support and operate our products in a 24x7 NOC environment.

-Pool knowledge with subject matter experts in other areas and be prepared to assist them when the need arises.

-Take ownership of escalated issues: understand whats happening, pull on experts in other areas, and commit to resolving them.

-Review incidents and propose improvements based on observed gaps, risks, and trends.

-Have a strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship in your work.

-Work as an on-call engineer outside of shift timings.

Experience:

-Qualified candidates will generally have 6+ years of software development and IT operations experience, including:

-Diverse and complicated environments that employ different technologies to solve different problems.

-Databases like MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

-Cloud services like AWS S3, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache.

-Development using Angular JS, React ,Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET, and Python.

-Designing distributed systems for scalability and fault tolerance.

-Working with cross-functional teams like Operations, Support, Infrastructure, Security, and Development.

-Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

-DevOps and software deployment concepts using technologies like Docker, Puppet, Kubernetes, Bamboo, and Terraform.
