Job Description :
-Provides technical leadership of networking methodologies and technologies and drive technical standards.
-Be a resource, consultant and technical leader to internal development, operations and support teams.
-Organize, review, write and publish technical documentation.
-Work as part of an agile development team to define, design, develop, test, and implement leading edge networking, wireless and security solutions.
-Contribute to the continuously evolving and improving development processes.
-Meet engineering design and deliverable deadlines with quality and with little or no supervision.
-Willingness to work in flexible shifts to assist team with technology operational duties.
-Provide clear, concise and timely feedback to management
-Willingness to troubleshoot and support software application.
-Work as an on-call engineer outside of shift timings.
The ideal candidate would:
-Have a Cisco/Meraki certification namely CCNP -Wireless / Meraki CMNO.
-Have fundamental understanding and hands-on experience with wireless technologies including WLAN, WPA/WPA2, TKIP, LEAP, PEAP and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless.
-Have worked with wireless site survey tools like Ekahau HeatMapper/Netscout Airmagnet.
-Have strong understanding of wireless security and its auditing tools.
-Thorough comprehension of protocols including TCP, UDP, FTP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, etc.
-Have 5+ years of experience in deploying network, wireless solutions, system engineering or network consulting.
-Be well versed in the latest industry best practices around network and wireless technologies.
-Have great verbal and written communication skills.
-Have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
