Job Description :
-Handles Independent assignment related to development of specialty, commodity and new molecules from India, China and Middle East regions.
-Identifies new opportunities/ Principals and implements actions strategies to generate new tie-ups and sourcing associations
-Must have exhaustive knowledge of Indian and Regional Chemical Industry and capabilities.
-Must have knowledge of International Trade, Market Research and Vendor Management.
-Establishes supplier base in conformance with guidance from Principals / Category Managers
-Handles requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
-Evaluates current and potential suppliers in coordination with Supplier and Principals Quality Teams
-Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
-Executes contract negotiation and development in coordination with Sourcing Manager and Contract Specialists.
-Establishes and maintains rapport with all levels of supplier personnel and internal customers.
