POSITION TITLE

Documentum Systems Administrator (On contract, duration 1 year)

BUSINESS UNIT

IT-BPE, Dr Reddys Laboratories

LOCATION

Bachupally, Hyderabad

PURPOSE

The Document Management System is a key system at Dr. Reddys which addresses GxP compliance requirements and enables productivity improvements by simplifying document life cycle management across the organization. In this role you will be accountable for the administration, configuration and maintenance of the DMS to ensure high availability and positive end user experience and compliance. You will work with the business team, delivery teams and other IT partners on platform changes to deliver continuous improvements


EDUCATION QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

B.E. / B.Sc in Computer Science /IT

2+ years of experience working with installation, configuration and administration of EMC Documentum. Documentum Admininstrator Certification a plus

Experience with Documentum Pharma suite - LSQM, LSRD and SSV a plus

5+ years of Systems Administration experience on Microsoft stack

Must have working knowledge of SQL Server Database administration,

Must have Tomcat server and Jboss/Websphere administration

Proficiency in Shell Scripting, SQL, DQL, HTML, XML, XSLT, XSL, XSD

Programming experience with PL/SQL or equivalent, JAVA, J2EE, JDBC and JSON a plus

1-2 years in Pharma industry with understanding of 21CFRPart 11 and GxP regulations and GAMP 5 principles is desirable; 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System Administration

Monitor the Document Management system to support uninterrupted operations

Work with Infrastructure team on server maintenance, Backup and Restore drills and DR drills to ensure the health of the system

Mentor L1 support at various sites on basic trouble shooting

Provide L2 support and work with product support teams where required for timely resolution of issues; Ensure 21CFR Part 11 and GxP compliance in execution

Understand and maintain interfaces with other applications such as SAP 


Continuous Improvement and change management

Act as change agent to instill continuous improvement culture. Identify opportunities for improvement in document management practices; identify new areas/processes that could leverage the system.

Investigate design alternatives and present these for architectural review

Deliver configurations and customizations for small sized projects or an element of a larger project

Follow proper change control and validation procedures to make any changes to the system 

Develop communication and change management plans as they relate to project deployment. 

Prepare support documentation and training materials for end users of document management systems

Cutover planning and migration to ensure smooth transition 

Application Ownership

Maintain all documentation related to System Configuration, Solution design/architecture, and system usage procedures

Keep abreast of developments in document management by reviewing current literature, talking with colleagues, participating in educational programs, attending meetings or workshops, or participating in professional organizations or conferences

Monitors regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management regulations
